WHY I HAVEN’T HEARD ABOUT THIS?

The Amazing Hunt uses “word of mouth” as the main approach when we do our promotion. It is better you hear from other people who have done it, enjoyed it and recommended us to you. If you see people wearing out authentic The Amazing Hunt “buff” running around the city in a race or competing in interesting challenges, please cheer for them and be a part of Vancouver’s own urban adventure. The Amazing Hunt values your enthusiasm!

 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The Amazing Hunt is aiming for an extremely affordable pricing for both small and large groups. Unlike other adventure provides who requires you to have a minimum investment of average $3000, The Amazing Hunt bases the cost per person. Each event has its minimum deposit amount and it is very reasonable for the most authentic experience you could ever have without being on the actual reality TV shows. We certainly understand that for a private group or even a corporate outing, it is important to work within the budget.

 

WHAT DOES THE FEE INCLUDE?

All our fees are flat fee with no tax. It is very simple to do adding or subtracting based on the number of people in your group with our cost per person pricing. The minimum booking deposit for each event is our base cost per event. If you have a small group, you simply pay the deposit amount. The fee includes all the activities within the event unless otherwise specified. Please note that any transportation cost is not included and it is at your own expense.

 

CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY EVENT?

All of our events have different course selections. It provides a wide range of options and locations. Also, it is possible to customize your event to your liking. Please feel free to contact us by e-mail for more details.

 

IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?

Participants are suggested to be at least 16 years of age to participate in any of our events. If your group has any minors, they must team up with at least one adult for safety reasons. We are also able to tailor our events such as “King of the Battle” and “Urban Expedition” for kids’ birthday party. It is suggested that the children must be at least 7 years or older. For any public events open for registration, the applicants must be at least 19 years of age at the date of the event.

 

IS THERE ANY GROUP SIZE RESTRICTION?

There is no minimum number of people to qualify for a group booking in any of our events. However, there is a minimum booking deposit required regardless the group size. To ensure the most authentic experience and event progression, there is a restriction on the maximum number of people in some of our events. But please contact us if you have any specific request as we are always up for a new challenge.

 

IS THERE ANY HEALTH RESTRICTION?

All activities are designed to be suitable for everyone to participate in. You don’t need to be physically trained. However, it is necessary that you are in good physical and mental health.  If you have any concern or any member from your group has a health issue or condition but still want to be a part of the event, please feel free to discuss it with us during the meeting.

 

WHY IS THERE A MEETUP PROCESS?

For any group booking, scheduling a meeting prior to the event with our representative is required. During this meeting, the organizer from your group will need to fill out an application form, sign a release and waiver and to pay for the fees in order to confirm your booking in a first come first serve basis. Your booking is not complete until we have met with your organizer and have received the minimum booking deposit for your event. At the meeting, we can answer any questions that you may have and to hammer out all the details to provide you a better experience.  In addition, by scheduling any meeting with our representative to discuss any details regarding to your event whether you have submitted your information through our registration form on our website, the meeting will be considered as the initial meeting.

 

WHAT KIND OF PAYMENT METHOD DO YOU ACCEPT?

We can only accept your payment in cash, money order or cheque payable to the order of Bill Lin. For any group booking, we must receive your deposit or full payment at least 7 days in advance of your preferred booking date or at the initial meeting with your organizer to waive a late booking fee of $100 dollar.

 

WHAT IS THE SUITABLE ATTIRE FOR YOUR EVENT?

The Amazing Hunt is a reality TV based competition. Hence, participants are suggested to wear sporty and comfortable clothing. For safety reasons, participants are not suggested to wear sandals or anything with heels. Also, it is recommended to bring beverages in case of feeling dehydrated during the event.

 

IS THERE A PRIZE FOR THE WINNER?

In group bookings, the winner or the winning team will receive a special token from us for bragging rights. All participants will also receive The Amazing Hunt official bandanas for their effort of trying something fun!
