TAR19: MEDIOCRE PREMIER

As always, 11 teams of two embarked on another race around the world. The promo is all about this season being extreme, extraordinary and exciting. Apparently, the premier doesn’t live up to it at all. With an entire episode focus on a new Hazard penalty, a team losing a passport, and the teams have all been in a very competitive situations in their life, not much is going on. The tasks were interesting but not unique. The locations were boring and typical. We don’t get to know much about the teams or they just don’t stand out. Seriously, the casting on The Amazing Race is just so stereotypical and not impressive.

In one of the previous entries, I mentioned about The Amazing Race is being on and off with their quality. The odd number of seasons are not doing as good as the even number of seasons. For the avid fans, we can’t really stand the unstable production. Seriously, I would love CBS to hire me to give a complete overhaul for The Amazing Race. It is desperate in need of a facelift. In my opinion, this could be the worst season premier ever in The Amazing Race history.
