TAR18 IS SO MUCH MORE THAN EXPECTED!

I haven’t commented on TAR18 until now because I am very into this season so much.

First, even though the casting is returned teams, but how the show introduced them in the “unfinished business” style and with additional footages from their previous seasons, certainly makes them interesting to watch again. In addition, since they all have raced once, these teams are definitely more cut-throat and aggressive making decisions whether they are good or bad. It is definitely great TV.

The racecourse setup is so much better than previous seasons. All the locations are exotic and the challenges are culture related. With two To Be Continued legs, even though TAR didn’t come up with any new aspect to spice up the race, it makes the race very unpredictable. In addition, with the upcoming Double U-Turns, the race is pushing teams’ limit to the max.

The HD presentation certainly widens the view for the race and it also brings so much drama into one screen. What I have also noticed, the editing this season is actually better and put in a few different editing styles. Also, with new intense background music to support all the conflicts, every moment is heighten.

It is only the fourth episode of TAR18 and it is doing better than ever! The Amazing Race is certainly on its way to claim its 8th Emmy Award.
